Criminal Court Cases in Umatilla County
The Umatilla County Circuit Court is Oregon's general-jurisdiction trial court for local felony and misdemeanor prosecutions. It belongs to the Sixth Judicial District. Free Search or Paid OJCIN
Free OJD search is the best first pass. It can identify the court, case number, filing date, status, parties, charge entries, hearings, and register activity in many public cases. It is not a document library. A register entry stating that a judgment was filed does not reveal every term printed in that judgment.

When Umatilla Cases Are Missing
A case may be absent because it has not been filed, the search name differs, the record is confidential, the matter belongs to a municipal or federal court, or older material needs staff retrieval. Try the case number if known. Use partial-name wildcard search, narrow to Umatilla County, and check both Pendleton and Hermiston location information.
If that fails, contact either Circuit Court counter. For a recent arrest with no case, ask the arresting agency for the report and check again after the prosecutor has made a filing decision. Federal District of Oregon cases use PACER, not OJD. City matters may remain at the municipal court.
Access Rules for Case Records
